Well Juice consider it this way, we had been told for years and years what would and wouldn't be in KH3 through interviews and trailers we thought were snippets. Turns out the trailers were everything.

I can give you a huge number of sources from nomura about so many things that aren't in KH3 proper

FF characters, even six months from release, were still being told to the public "they'll be there"

E3 2018 and Nomura still didn't give us a straight answer

Well, I didn’t watch a single 3 trailer before playing it

So it was all surprising to me

It's just so you can understand where everyone was coming from

some of us followed every single scrap of news available

I went back and watched the trailers after and was like “yikes they really showed everything didn’t they”

But I still tried to keep reasonable expectations

There was even at one point in like 2017 where he was like “hey if people want Sephiroth bad enough he’ll make it”

at least 5 times from 2013 to 2018 nomura said "FF characters will be there"

Although distrust started to form because of their absence in the trailers

Honestly I just realized what happened with 3 is basically exactly what happened with Metal Gear Solid V minus all the internal drama.

Except I’m on opposite sides of the argument with both of those games lol

Cut to kh3 AND remind I’ve probably never seen something more requested other than playable Kairi or Oathkeeper/Oblivion yet he’s nowhere to be found
