King of Toys is just a big flying saucer, nothing much to make it truly remarkable

The buildings getting in the way were annoying enough for me to remember though

There's paying homage to the past and then there's not even having your own identity

Shimomura should have composed it imo

Even Ishimoto could've done it, he's a good composer. It just needed to be something new.

like theres the melody, and the harmony feels weak or not really all there

so the melody is like the tune you can easily pick up

and the harmony is like a counter to it but it still goes with it

like in the YMX theme

during that violin solo

the fast part is the melody while the other violin is the harmony

With YMX? Yeah
