I mean they literally wouldn’t need to dump exposition on you or make you stop to read or ANYTHING just give some weird ass reason why darklings are there and create long enough battles with them to the point where they have enough time to get a message across to the player

Like my whole thought process from the minute they showed one off in the trailer right next the Aqua thing just made me think “okay so that’s Aqua’s darkest fears so a dark inferno appearing for Ven must be due to some trauma that’s locked away that he can’t remember atm”

honestly as cool as the dark inferno fight and the tornado of anti-aqua's looked in the trailers, it didn't really deliver in the dlc imo

Yeah, before the fight against Ven and Aqua he got some new dialogue

yeah vanitas is a ~bit~ more of a mystery now

but idk how much of a mystery tbh lol

imagine if vanitas comes back as a hero and ven becomes a villain
