It's like completely wrong in terms of continuity, but it could always be that ux happens in the future, or that it all loops in on itself

The ruins could be from another city that the MoM lived in as a child.

We do know there is a form of paradox happening though
All the events happening in the past can't be changed but there's a point where the gazing eye can't see past

which my guess is we'll learn about MoM's war in dr, and he'll take YX to the ruins of his old home or something

which is interesting cause from the trailer of Melody it seems like there's another world, presumably Yozora's world, separate from the events of the light and darkness in Sora and co.'s world
So it's like he kept his eye there while he retreated to a safe distance

He could have easily just stopped writing it down at a specific point beneficial to his goals.
