To me time loop if a cop out if Nomura does it

cop out of what tho?

Of the story

Like a time loop simply erases any history and basically says “this history is now”

We lose the idea of a progressive growth to where we are in the story

I need to research more about type-0 but it would essentially be similar to that

oh idk i don't see it at all like that lol
I feel like the mystery of MoM gets answered, theyre a good guy trying to get out of the time loop
the characterizations of all the characters seem different, Xehanort's goals seem much more good-intentioned, and it essentially puts Sora and co in a situation where they blindly followed the villain of Mickey after being thrust into this world

I think it puts a new take on things rather than keeping it as the same old good vs evil while introducing characters to possible new ideologies and characterizations

I hated the plot of type 0 which is why I would hate kh if that’s what this became

A new take that detracts from pretty much all the lore

not really though

it just makes you think oh shit we were wrong to kill xehanort

Dont' we already have a timeloop anyway since Xehanort yeeted himself back in time to possess young xehanort

more like YX is in a time loop himself

i think its more admirable to do that after painting him as the bad guy for so long than it is to keep him bad forever

for them to realize "Oh shit we just spend our entire youth just killing this man" after we spent our entire youth killing that man

rather than just saying it happened and then being like lololololplot

that would be interesting walrus ?

Yeah that's what I mean LMAO sorry my words have also yeeted themselves back in time

No worries!!! laughsinnomura

it still keeps his actions sort of questionable though

like he wasn't a purely good person but his intentions were

so you have to question whether he was the right one to do what he was trying to do or not

Also. Only reason I mention type-0 is because of the daybreak town clock tower being similar to the clock thing in that game + a repeating war.

Xehanort was evil

It is interesting that we got to see young xhanort non-norted by his past self which was interesting

~If he should have been the one to lead the new world~

He was not a good person

He was a narsasitic egomaniac

He seemed naive and I've seen people wonder if his future self didn't meddle with his past self would the outcome of been different

I still don't think Xehanort was ever that black and white of a character

I think he was

Idk about you Walcat, but trying to reset the whole universe sounds pretty bad to me

I mean

It was for the sake of balance tho

i think it sounds like a fine idea in the context of kh
