Actually I was talking about Ultima

For Oathkeeper, you need the proof of promises which you get for collecting every lucky emblem in the base game. For Oblivion you need the proof of times past, which you get for beating critical mode

Ultima?

Well for that, you need to give the moogle shot 58 different materials and he will give you the Ultima Weapon recipe, which requires 7 Orichalcum+ as well as a few other items

I mean it's hard to find but I'll try my best

It basically requires perfecting every Mini-Game and completing the Gummi ship

My least favorite thing about 3 probably is the fact that there's abilities locked behind mini games

I don't recall entirely but there's one I remember that is Goofy spins Thunder finisher

there's a magnet ability tied to a mini game as well

I mean those are not really extremely important so I'm not worried

Growth abilities being locked behind form leveling would be okay so long as they're not as grindiy as 2 FM

Or an idea I've heard is that you could level up forms and then you can unlock more combo abilities for base Sora

I mean it's still the concept of stuff like dodge roll, locked behind a form and you are required to use that form to get it. I've heard that idea before and that would have been so much better

It would be neat you can have different builds of combos

Honestly that would have been super neat

It's just like, you can't do a no form run of 2 FM because so many crucial abilities are locked to them

The main issue I think is that they just take too long to level up you have to really grind to get them you can't just get them as your playing through

and then anti form doesnt help

I mean putting dodge roll, a series staple, behind a form is just not good design imo. and having high jump at practically the beginning of the game, doesn't feel right.
