The games shouldn’t be spread about being exclusive to platforms.

Also, I'll add this. We do not know at which level the UX story will matter in the next game. The important parts could very well be explained through flashbacks like the Xehanort/Eraqus chess scenes. They don't have to explain everything that happened earlier in order for people to understand what's going on in the next game.

We know what the keyblade graveyard is even if we haven't played UX.

We know a bunch of wielders died there.

Anyone would understand that Ephemer was a keyblade wielder.

That's all they needed to know to understand that scene.
