11S is adding more content. It's like a final mix

but calling it a remake is a bit of a stretch

still fundamentally the same game

I am pretty excited for 11S

turbo mode during battles, orchestrated soundtrack, more mountable monsters

I hope this gets more people to try out the DQ series. It's criminally under the radar in the west. Deserves to be on the same pedestal as FF here

I'd argue the series is more consistent quality wise too, compared to FF

it's easier when you just do the same game over and over

this does remind me a lot of KH1, 2 and bbs final mix

ff take risk to innovate and has a habit to fail

I do think it's a bit weird how they're releasing a whole new game for DQXI, instead of re-releasing the original and making the add-ons dlc. Reminds me of when for KH final mixes, they resold the entire game again
