An SA1 remake could be good

Obviously it would depend on execution

SA1 had a great physics engine

SA1 has a clear design philosophy imo though that no other sonic game since has replicated

Istg if there's boost and wisps in it I'll break the disc

And even if it ends up being trash, at least it would force Sonic Team to be in contact with the Adventure formula, meaning they'd be more willing to try using it in future games instead of linear boost trash

Boost formula is played out, it was only good in Unleashed and in Generations, every single attempt to replicate it since then has been bad

Colors wasn't even a boost game, it was a 2D platformer with boost in it

It's brilliant, and people shit on it for graphics or glitches without realising it's from 1999

The level design isn't interesting enough in other games besides generations and unleashed

And Forces was basically weaksauce stripped down neutered nerfed Generations

Forces was baby's first boost game

Other than the sonic twitter posting music remakes, they also posted something interesting that had no reason to be posted

I still think boost gameplay is better than what we had with things like shadow the hedgehog. But that's more of a screw up on the developers side, not the style of gameplay being downright terrible
