Imo, the next gen Black and white is the peak, but a lot of people think HGSS is

even if the story was so much weaker

I think btw, that's its really good that there's at least four games fans argue over that are seen as the best, because it just means we have pretty high quality titles in this series

I was on the same boat as you, I didn't like a lot of the designs

But imo it is defo worth it

especially as everything can emulate a DS these days

too bad some people complained that tis too railroady and thus we'll never get such a great story again that walks the line between being about a world threat to due with some godly diety and being a simplier journey with a grounded threat

And a story with lots of nuance, symbolism, and analogies

Sun and moon are actually good.. and the story is considered to be second to BW

Honestly for me it's Black/white, BW2, and then HGSS

Detective Pikachu is the best Pokémon game

I would have to say.. BW2, SM, and... SS or Platinum
