They seem to be getting into this one set animated "comic book" style

with different designs? yeah

Which isn't really a bad thing, but they all look the same

i prefer them keeping one artstyle not have them be different

To me its more of a matter of looking like the source material in some way

I mean for the animated universe, sure keep them the same style. But for stuff like Red Son they should do something different

They tried that with Killing Joke

The Killing Joke was still kinda along the lines of the basic art style they usually go for

he tried to keep it as close as possible to the original btas design but it came out wrong

batman looked weird then theres nightwing's hair

harley's the only one who kept her btas design

it was far too stiff

I kinda miss the way the original animated series looked

i dread the possible batman beyond sequel movie to batman beyond series based on how he lost his touch with drawing

they were canned before it happened

season 4 became justice league

Season 4 was the new animated series

at least thats what the box set calls it
