I just think it's overpriced shite

Like, when I heard the hate, I was initially thinking that people were just blaming the animations and dex cut on everything, and there was no genuine criticism on the game itself

but after watching like 5 hours of it, it just seems incredibly soulless to me. It felt like the game was constantly trying to rush you towards plot

and then I saw someone post a comparison which really got me

Guess that's a lesson learned, don't assume what criticisms are and are not genuine.

I'm just really glad I didn't end up buying it, because I was pretty tempted to do so
