I think portable systems mostly kill potential. Very few games actually benefit from it imo

I game more on portable systems. It's just more convenient.

But I do think they have a place on the market, phones just don't have the storage yet for a ton of next gen games plus your everyday phone stuff

I think certain games work well portable but not a lot

Mobile is what kills it then.

I think if you can accept graphics being on the lower end
the DS and 3DS did really well with JRPGs
the second screen helps a lot with them
