It's cool in the us because bounty hunters in space are badass

Ergo Japan hates space bounty hunters

I only like it cuz of the gameplay. One of the few nintendo franchises I enjoy

I like it for the atmosphere, enemy design, gameplay and music

also it is inspired quite a bit by Alien so thats a plus

I mean Ridley is basically a dragon crossbred with a xenomorph

I love that Samus is a pretty solid character, and it's a shame the only game that gave her a full voice made her a plank of wood

I mean to be fair she also had bad monologues

i've honestly forgotten like 80% of other m

and I really prefer her not being voiced

no clue what the hell even happened in that game

I mean what lines do you give her? She rarely has direct or personal connections to the events happening outside of her chozo upbringing

You know who could make a really cool metroid show? The guy that made samurai jack

making her voiced was odd

I mean Her life isn't just her origin story, it'd be interesting to put her in situations where she talks to someone, it's what makes fusions conversations pretty entertaining

Well thats not what I meant by that

And honestly the elevator sequences of her thinking to herself were really the only conversation happening in that game

which funnily enough is more to do with her origin story. I mean she reflects on the computer because it is modelled after Adam, who was in command while she worked for the federation

Though the way she expresses herself through just her expressions at times is pretty cool

And I wouldnt mind her having interactions with other people. I mean having more bounty hunters like in 3 could be interesting but I find that in a lot of the games where she is placed in an unfamiliar setting work more effectively when she responds more with her body and face then telling us her thoughts

That's where metroid shines really, in the actions

I just say the guy that made samurai jack because it's easier to spell

But yeah imagine metroid directed by genndy tartakovsky

That would be a pretty badass show

I'd disagree tbh.

Unless he has done more stuff that is less action driven Idk

cause all I have seen from him are very high action shows

which is not what metroid is about
