Not saying I dislike Genndy I do like his style and shot composition but I dont think he'd be the best guy for Metroid

But samurai jack is basically if metroid starred a samurai

He has made a-lot of moments, scenes and even episodes where its completely silent.

Little to no words, No music, No action. He just lets the environment and the character’s reaction to their surrounds do the work.

I guess I can see where you are coming from but I still wouldnt really give it to him. And I mean to be fair Metroid as a series if it were to be faithful as an adaption would just be a lot of that. Those episodes tend to work in favour of a story like samurai jack because so much has been going one before and after. Though as a standalone episode that could work. Oh wait actually an anthology like series could work for metroid. If it was just different directors or animators doing a few episodes of a short series that would be cool. I dont think a continuous storyline is necessary. Unless you want to adapt prime's but then it would be hard unless you started adding characters and stuff into it.

There's not a lot happening in the story as a whole till you get to the ends of 1/2. 3 would be easily adaptable.

It'd probably be best if it were maybe a mini series, which is really what genndy works on now

There's been reports of the ps5 being compatible with ps1-ps4

And if so, I'm gonna shit myself

If that happens then it's just awesome

I am expecting it to work with ps4 at least

I can put both my ps3 and 4 away if that happens

But if it happens with the older ones too, then that's even better
