I can see why oda would be skeptical about this

But then again Netflix hasn’t had a great track record with live action anime

According to the article, Netflix will only be doing the physical production

So I am guessing sets, costume, weapons and so on

so guys i just realized a clear juxtaposition between Ansem and Xemnas, specifically the way they are written in KH1 and 2

in KH1, Ansem is extremely hammy, emotionally driven, very lustful. He has emotion, and a compasion for the darkness, because hes a heartless and made out of a heart, which contains all these emotions this make sense, however, because he is a heartless is no where near as composed as Xemnas. Xemnas has the composure you would expect from a human, but due to his lack of a heart, has less emotion, is made to act more like what xehanorts apprentice would actually act like, simply with a lack of empathy. A shell, just like a nobody

the way they wrote these characters is so clearly a juxtaposition its amazing

Yeah that's how I think of it

Heartless are the more beastial and ferocious compared to the more calm nobodies so it makes sense Ansem is more emotional

I just realised this is general but tbh that's because discord decided to land me in the remind chat straight away

I see i'm not the only one being suprised by discord

it honestly amazing to me that despite loose ends kh1, chain of memories, and 2 are this self contained story

that seems to have a clear beginning, middle, and end

But hardly a clear conclusion

true, but one that does have a sort of trilogy feel to it

kh2 even has a bunch of lines that refer to the game as the beginning of the end

the original trilogy what have you

and a very strong one in terms of JRPGs

KH1 -> ReChain -> KH2
just 3 back to back great games with high points in every aspect

after kh2 or 358/2 days debatably the series gets a little wonky

honestly, BBS onwards

358 just fills in the holes of what Roxas is doing in the meantime

and makes you cry
