I had to cease ties with pokemon's fanbase because the "discussion" about sw/sh was driving me nuts

oh but to me the worst of em is the RWBY fanbase

Absolutely awfulbut the series is amazing. I binged Season 1 and 2 and then started reading the manga. Like I've never been that into something in a long time

But yeah I dunno, I've done all I can, tbh if they're still trying to corner me off then that really shows how obsessive and how much of a fragile ego they have. Especially when I'm a relative nobody and they're a decently popular account

Yeah it's better to not interact with large fanbases so openly like on twitter

for RWBY the entire fanbase shipped 2 characters so hard the writers legitimatley gave up and made them a couple

And i know it shouldnt happen, but toxic fanbases have legit ruined any possibility of enjoyment out of something for me

Honestly at this point tumblr might be better

despite the fact that 2 seasons had them interact a total number of 0 times

Undertale has been fhe exception for the most part

Mainly because i like the game mechanics

That's wild though. Zelda fanbase pissed me off the most though. I always had this cool idea for an open world Zelda where you had selectable gear and outfits to earn and you could use them however you wanted.

BotW comes out to critical appraise and no complaint over the exact ideals I had for years.

IRonically, breath of the wild did just that and zelda's fanbase exploded over it

Trails is the big one for me. Used to love the games and while I still do, I have legit ptsd cuz of the community

To be fair. I do think Pokemon could use a formula change in some shape or form
