volume 6 tries to pull a legend of korra season 2 and give an origin story for their world, the origin story is kinda bad and doesnt answer the questions that people cared about. its got a good middle and a pretty lame ending

If people are offended by that statement doesn't that mean they somewhat agree with it

I'm glad I'm not invested in Nintendo products cuz it's scary now

people who bash something vehemontly just because they didnt like it, and the people who defend it to such an extreme, that they think of it as the second coming of christ

I do see a fair amount of people defending in toxic ways. My favorite deflection with Pokemon is the whole "you're really gonna complain about a game that targets children."

And ive seen people make "apologist bingo" cards

One side criticises, pretty mildly at first, the backlash to that is often huge and disproportionate, so then the next wave of criticism is harsher, it all spirals outta control.

Maybe take the criticism on board in the first place like adults

theres a point when I gotta wonder why someone would get so mad about it. its still a video game, so why bash it THAT hard.

And unfortunatly, this toxicity leaves people who see both the games praise and flaws and still enjoy it in a rather hot seat

The Apologist Bingo cards literally cause some of the biggest rouses and it's amazing because everyone on both sides immediately start attacking each other.

Well sometimes people get attached rather hard to something so the positive and negative feelings are amplified

i like ff13, despite its many, many flaws. the stuff that stuck with me is all pretty good

especially the music
