I heard of Persona 5 because my friend laughed at me and told me that I'm a moron for thinking that Pokemon is a good creature-collection game and that I should play Persona 5 to see what a good video game actually looks like. And after I finished P5 I agree with him that I was a huge moron

Ehhh, they are widely different games

Persona is a linear game where you can make odd choices here and there while Pokemons whole motto is "gotta catch them all"

I mean even if Pokemon is more focused on the collection aspect, it performs worse than P5 because even this aspect in P5 is better than anything in Pokemon

I disagree. There isn't much incentive to actually get all the monsters in Persona games. P5 is definitely the better game, no denying that but that's not really what Pokemon is after either.
