the manga is canon, anime is kind of canon sometimes

but filler is present, which makes it iffy

anime super came first before manga super

no anime super is canon and came first then manga follow the anime but has its own thing

anime is like 85 % canon, with filler being the non canon parts

for z and dragon ball yes thats the case but not for super

super both are their own thing

they both differ in many ways

in super's case theres no filler

thats because anime super came first and is canon first

the manga didnt happen till after the first three arcs of anime super

The first two arcs which were movie adaptations

the manga took a long time trying to catch up to the anime
