Sure

I just like to stay far from the discussions

Come on Noah

so has anybody else heard about the new call of the wild movie

I hate it already

Its soooooooooo inaccurate to the story of the book

This story is like really old, like early 1900's old

made in 1903

and they removed most of what the story is about

If the original book was adapted properly, it would need an R rating

this thing is PG

Its already not following the story properly from just whats shown in the trailers

this story is about how a perfectly domesticated dog can fall victim to the cruel nature of the northern wilderness

its supposed to be really, and I mean REALLY dark

not this cheerful buddy adventure BS

If the author was alive, hed be mad at disney

I remember reading it as a kid

i mean, probably not, but tbf i dont like the disney remakes anyway

but the thing im proposing is, if disney wanted to make a buddy dog movie

why adapt call of the wild, one of the darkest dog books ever written

Ur gonna make me mosh again

?

He reunites with man at the end tho doesn't he

I don't remember the end of the book

the end of the book is really sad

I'll put it as a spoiler tag

I think he does right?

I think he dies right?

So

Harrison fords character meets buck within the last 1/3rd of the book, and they grow attached, hes bucks last hope at being a decent dog again. Buck kills a moose and drags its carcass back to harrison fords character to show him his achievement. But the man is dead and riddled with arrows. He was murdered by a nearby native american tribe who stumbled upon him. Buck gets furious and goes on a killing spree, which then creates a legend about this dog that turned wolf that kills natives, it ends with buck fully embracing the nature of the wilderness, and the call of the wild.

like its gruesome, its violent, perfect for disney to adapt of course

yeah I agree, buck as a party member would be great

he and goofy would get along

Now we need to find a bigwig that will actually fix wally west and redeem him in our eyes

@Silent Multiverse dang Steve Burton does NOT sound happy

"they fired us, they fired all of us, and replaced us with the new young things" or something like that

:/ sounds like Square weren't as respectful as people thought

"Oh Steve you're Cloud aren't you?"
"Yeah not anymore"

Yeah this is really scummy imo
