like wouldnt it theoretically just keep going

the known universe is simply what we know

so theoretically space would still look like space after that

Exactly it's infinite what would be the edge how can it end but it cannot end

i like to think of it like this. we establish an "edge" to give ourselves a concept of measurement

its like building a fence in a large open field

sure you could try to measure the entire space, but its easier when we make limits

there can be artificial man-made limits I suppose but they're still reality and existence and more space to space it's just a weird to think about

if something is infinite, it means that theoretically anything can exist in it

eventually everything can exist in a space that is infinite

for example, kingdom hearts could exist beyond the observable universe, but we dont see it because we cant observe it.

in a way what we can see is what we can understand
