I sadly don't remember much from how the og game works

From my 10 hours of the original that's the only mechanic i remember

The weapons in the game work similarly too

if u maxed out a mateira in the og also got a copy of the materia at lv1

They all have their own stats and get their own (called SP)

And then there are nodes on the weapons you can upgrade

Like more strength, or MP

Or even add more Materia

So it works similarly to what KH3 did but more in depth

Weapons in this game basically have stat trees

You get a certain amount of points per level to allocate to various nodes

Like a non linear mini sphere grid contained in each weapon

You can also reset it so if you don't like what you chose, you can do it all over again

Although you gotta pay for that

This means you can make weapons for different set ups

Magic weapon, melee weapon, etc

Alright, one more tiny issue I have with the game

The textures are not great

Character models look amazing and so does the world too from afar

But get close to anything and you can see it's not properly done

Makes me wonder what the day one patch is going to contain

It's specific textures and is worse on regular ps4

Like clouds apt door

There seems to be some issue loading them properly

The high res ones are in game they just fail to load

Occasionally you'll see one that doesn't usually load and it comes in properly

It's weird how the preload is 85.9 GB I thought it was supposed to be a hundred
