Akechi's link is also the only link in the game that can be ended prematurely by picking certain choices

I have seen videos of him in your party in a way that makes absolutely no sense if you played the original I'm curious how that happens

Futaba's mom is shown in a trailer alive and well, so I'm assuming the new story arc is going to be taking place in a new reality where all of the dead people closest to the cast are alive and well

 

 

and it has to be related to Kasumi who has played no vital role yet. Morgana was shown to be human as well so it just might be a reality with all desires coming to fruition

 

 

also Kasumi only has 5 social link ranks so I'm assuming the next 5 will unlock in the new story arc
