eh ? isn't god creator of all thing ?

:popcorncat:

god is essentially whatever it needs to be

The Christian model is usually that God created all things perfect and then original sin firetrucked everything

Well I can't speak for other religions, I can barely speak for Islam

But I do know that there is a belief in Islam that says even if a good deed is done by someone who either out of ignorance or something else isn't a believer in him, they will get their reward

And if that reward means heaven then it might be

Didn't Thomas Aquinas write thousands of pages worth of "the only things we know about God is what he isn't"

But of course, I can't claim to know that

But then here's an issue too. If someone who's the worst person ever to live but still believes in the religion. Would they end up in heaven or hell? I mean, based on the rules of a religion you aren't supposed to do bad things but you still believe in that god. Would he really punish that one person then? Why punish the person who did a good but not believed in you than the person who did believe in you but did bad things.

pretty sure you are punished too

From my pov anyway, the day of reckoning is supposed to be a day of justice, They get their punishment

Paul said that faith without action is as good as dead

"You knew I was watching but you still ate that 5th cookie"

But that's also from the point of view from another human. If there is a god, we don't really know what their thoughts are.

We getting holy in here I see

"But God, you ate the first four"

That's actually one of the most recurring arguments, Otti

That we can't know what God is, therefore we can't know what he actually thinks

Then again, the Bible says God is the embodiment of love, so go figure

Well you have to take it from the perspective that God's word from the Holy books, any of them, are his words

If we are arguing he is real, then we have to look at the holy books to figure out his deal

My headcanon is if god exist he's actually evil and Lucifer is trying to save us but can't anymore so god can play with us like Dewey with ants
