I have a smart watch but it's a first Gen so tracking with it is more or less no different than tracking with my phone in my hand while I run

Thankfully I have good signal where I live so
I can use the location on my phone and Google Fit and get pretty good results

I’ve been thinking about getting the Apple Watch for a little while but it’s quite pricey

Most of them essentially use a light diode and electromagnetic tech that is safe for the skin but is also able to read your vitals

The newer ones have 4-6 diodes while early ones like mine just have 1
The more you have, the more accurate the results

I get out 10 minutes a day... at most
