but the people being tortured were those involved with 9/11

they were testifying in court that what they were put through was too extreme

i should probably research the outcome of the trial

I am guessing the people they tortured probably had nothing to do with the situation

this sounds really dark

and I have to determine the ethics of the situation based on a textbook

well sure they killed an awful lot of people

but torture is kinda extreme too man

torture as a form of interrogation was outlawed in 2009 in the US

so hopefully it isnt something they still do today
