I downloaded the Trials of Mana demo on my Nintendo Switch

I played 10 minutes

Oof

It was overwhelming and complicated and I got bored

The story is the only thing I am eehhh on with ToM

So I am most likely picking it up on a deal and not day one

Right at the beginning you have to chose a character and your partners but you know nothing about them or the story

It's a mana game. Their stories are never great

I don’t watch anime so that might be why I’m not used to those weird clothing and hairstyles

Since I don't watch a lot of anime I think that's part of the reason why I don't mind things and people say that they're overdone or something I've never seen you really any shows so that stuff is all new to me

Yeah Mana is a bit tamer than other games when it comes to that

it's also a typical JRPG thing of that era

Kinda hard to see something as a trope when you aren't familiar with it
