to be honest, Royal is the best turn based RPG I played, and I think if I played that first instead of the OG

I wouldn't feel the same way towards it

Royal is pretty unique with how it builds upon characters that weren't as developed in the original

to the point where if Royal were my first experience, the attachment I'd feel would be far less

from certain events and scenes

I also think it's kinda unreasonable and ridiculous to expect a JRPG to have a 170+ hour playtime for a first playthrough

I hope royal gets goty

p5 deserves it

OG P5 alone was like 100 hours or so which was insane, especially with how JRPGs nowadays tend to be shorter than the past

Royal's new content feels like a new game with its added content alone, not even mixed in with the old stuff

not really no. Original 5 just felt like a different experience to me overall with the story
