Sorry to tell you that but it’ll never be a thing.

Cus I mean in theory you what you would want to imagine it as is to move all your cells basically through physical space

I mean prolly not

I didn’t say it would be lol

and then theres the thought that you could lose part of you

It doesn’t seem possible with the current understanding of technology

Yeah you’d basically have it be a thing where you as you exist prior to doing it would have to be disassembled and recreated more or less at a different location

At that point isn’t it almost in a way cloning at the same time?

maybe

i mean if it's still the same make up is it a clone?

like unless it made a copy?

to make sure you don't lose any

It wouldn’t be a clone per se if there isn’t a second you

Cloning would be duplicating what you are made of

If its only disassembling you and recreating you

Than it's just recreating or repairing you

But more so the cells might have to exist in two instances to get you from one spot to the next

If you kill yourself and make a new you in another place it would be cloning

I'm not sure you can possibly do that. In the context of teleportation that wouldn't be happening.

Which would technically be teleporting

Well yeah, you jump from one point to another instantaneously for you

Technically teleporting

Just a lot of pain along with it

Yeah but t would be temporary death
