Gridania is the one with the worst layout because the aethernets are poorly placed.

Like to get to the gridania market* you need to teleport to the gridania *leatherworking Guild and then run over.

It really is garbage.

Meanwhile Limsa market both has a direct aethernet and the big aetheryte crystal right next to it.

And Ul'Dah also has an aethernet right to its market.

As do Ishgard and Kugane once you get there.

And the ShB place too that I won't name ;D

hmm yeah, I was thinking between Limsa and Gridania

Ul'Dah's scenery I really detest so that was out of the question

Limsa is cool, but I really don't like the layout of it at all

also, I'm super uncertain as to how often I'll even be going to the Grand Company lol. The tutorials given there really confused me, with its new currency

and how to acquire them

I've honestly only just begun to grasp the world and the concepts, they do a really terrible job of introducing you to everything. If I didn't find the setting at least interesting, I would've dropped the game near the beginning

That's fair.

Honestly you get that currency for basically free from certain roulettes, and also later you'll be able to turn in dungeon equipment drops in for more so it's not hard to do once you hit that rank.

But it's very much side stuff that isn't 100% vital.

Although some folks -will- call you by your rank.

So it's possible to get near the end and it's all. "Private, your leadership here is absolutely vital to this military operation.:"

Grand company literally means nothing other than glamour

I mean like in terms of what you choose and you can switch whenever with no penalty

Once you hit the rank they let you switch.

Anyway the chocobo is a blue quest near your grand company.

And then you'll be able to use mounts at all.

They're going to make that Quest mandatory come 5.3

But I mean like if you're super far in the game if you don't have mounts open like what
