the adventure of a lifetime

I do kinda regret it lol, a little bit.

The story and characters are pretty great, but the gameplay and the fact that it's an MMO really dulls the experience for me

I also feel as if I don't have a proper grasp on the intricacies of combat, and practically every mechanic

its basically a learn it yourself

I don't think I'm capable of honestly, every single mechanic in this game has layers upon layers of learning that are incredibly overwhelming.

the game will not teach you proper rotations which sucks but learning it is easy enough

Reason I like RDM cuz rotations are self explanatory in the game.

This would have potential to easily be my favorite Final Fantasy if it weren't an MMO. That vanilla storyline alone was :bizSweat:

BIG agree with that

I also lack a lot of sense with games involving other people so what is apparently easy in this is wildly difficult for me lol.

I mean if you want a fairly simple rotation

its basically the cycle of attacks that you do

or actions in the case of jobs with defensive or recovery skills

personally i prefer complex rotations because it allows me to be invested in the game more

makes it more satisfying when you use a complex string of attacks

I find casters the most fun with rotations.

Tbh josh arcanist/summoner is one of the more complex rotations

but thats why its currently my 3rd favorite job

because it gives a big damage ceiling

I honestly don't enjoy the combat at all, which is why I think I might drop the game down the line or soon. Whenever, really

if youre not having fun, you always try a different class

did you get the novice ring from the tutorial?

I think it's the dungeons that really kill enjoyment for me because playing with others is way too stressful a lot of the time, hard to enjoy at all

it makes leveling up classes up to level 30 very easy

use that to try a job you might find an interest int

use that to try a job you might find an interest in

theres alot of jobs in this game that make management of parties and stuff feel less stressful

bards for example
