it is pretty jarring at first but you will grow on to the new voice actor since you're going to be with them for far longer in there going to be a lot more voice cutscenes then there was in The Realm Reborn

Here is the problem I have:
SwSh are games that objectively have not been polished. I know what Otti says, but this is something of a fact, as a polished game would not have a mouse cursor visible in the credits, and would not have pop in as egregious as it does.

It also objectively has the worst level design in the entire series, with the "dungeons" being literal hallways. Even though the franchise as a whole has been getting easier, the linearity was never this bad.

The game handholds you even in the hardest fight at the end, where the legendary pokemon is practically given to you - this is not something that usually happens.

There is so much else that just overall detracts from the quality of the game, however, rather than people admitting the game has flaws, they act like these things are good or don't matter.

That's where I just get annoyed, you can absolutely have fun with, and like, a bad game. You can acknowledge something has flaws and still love it. My favourite games are glitchy messes.

But how do you ever expect the quality of pokemon games to improve if you refuse to acknowledge criticism?

Idk how many people will read that but I thought it was worth pointing out. Swsh is still fun because the basic "you gotta battle and catch em all" formula is always fun. But seeing as it has less polish and content than a game that's 10 years older than it doesn't let me call it a good game
