@Orpheus Joshua There is a certain enemy in FFXIV (I won't tell you which one bc of spoilers) and the artist thought that it's gonna be a mount because it really looked like a mount and ended up being a bosse

i think i prefer stormblood to heavensward so far

the only real issue i have with stormblood is how everything feels sorta segmented

like the shift from doma back to ala mhigo here felt pretty abrupt

heavensward kinda had that when you shifted between ishgard and finding the scions constantly, but i think it's a bit more jarring in stormblood

super minor gripes though, the oddness of it usually fades off in a quest or 2

certainly not my favorite to play at all but

in terms of story and cast it's the best for me so far

that Stormblood and Heavensward are freaking shit compared to Shadowbringers?

and it's gotten me a little concerned

for if i find shadowbringers underwhelming because of how hyped up it is

It's more that there's a lot of payoff or things they've been building up to for the entire game

Shadowbringers is basically the climax of the previous expansions

cuz i honestly don't know if i'm really enjoying stormblood so much cuz of how everyone says it's mediocre, so expectations might play a large role for me

do what I do and ignore what people say and take it for your own experiences

I wanna play XIV soley for Y'shtola but I really don't want to buy not only the game and expansions but pay a subscription for something I already own.

but i don't have the strength for that really

well i got the complete collection for half off at least

but i do kinda agree yeah. the pricing is kinda not great
