Is anyone else tired of people dying

I feel like there's been too much death, at first I thought I was desensitised to it but now it just feels overwhelming

I’m tired of this year as a whole wdym

It’s just been nothing but bad thing going into bad thing with little amounts of purity and slightly restoring faith in humanity

Here’s my suggestion, let’s remove 2020 from world history

I'm just so numb

Not numb

Exhausted

It's like a never ending cycle of "it is with great sadness I regret to inform you that X Person has passed away"

And I'm tired of it

Viruses really stink

Everything stinks

I wanna cry but at the same time I don't feel overwhelmed enough to

aren't people dying every seconds since you were born anyway ?

There’s no way to sugar coat it. They make life worse. All we can do is make life better for everyone else around us during this time

i'm unable to care when it's someone i don't know personally

I've had a lot of personal deaths.

It always hurts to see people you know pass away like that, especially if they were too young and deserved better

I'm not really the type of person who should comment on this sort of thing
But I mean, I think that while people are doing their best to make things better for eachother during this time, it doesn't really mean much.
People die, and that's just sort of that. Whether it's one or one million, people die. It's all we can really do to move on past them, just as they would have if it was us in their place.
And it's scary, I get that. Death is a mystery. I can think of a lot of things that I want death to be, and I can also think of a lot of things I don't want death to be. And when it surrounds us, especially closely, it feels like those things that I don't want it to be are looming ever closer. But in the end it's just a reminder that we don't really know. Maybe I'll die from the virus, maybe I won't. Maybe I'll die from something completely unrelated tomorrow, or 50 years in the future. It won't change the world around us. People will move on. And I'll have met the mystery and learn if it was all I wanted or all I didn't want

I believe I understand the mystery

I am confident I’m going to a life in the next, and I believe everyone else does as well

I grew up in a Christian home, but I’ve done my own research, my own studies and searches into other religions, beliefs. And the one that made the most sense to me was Christianity

The way I see it, we all have our time here on earth to experience things, to grow closer, to have the freedom to make choices to do the right thing. I am sure if there’s a hell, or what the rules are to go to hell exactly. But I believe there’s a heaven

I’ve grown up understanding death as something different

It hurts the see the people we have here pass away, especially if we knew them well

do you think animals go in heaven/hell ?

That’s what I’m not sure of

It’s not confirmed in the book so I can’t say

that would mean there is no animals in heaven, only humans, kinda boring

I still think there are animals

Here’s the thing, the last book of the Bible says earth is one day going to get blown up essentially, and everyone in heaven will live again on a new earth without death

why tho

Because in the Bible, sin is something that hasn’t just infected humans, it’s infected the earth itself

The world has sin in it,

Sin being, horrible tradgedys like diseases

so it would be like another dimension or just another planet far away ?
