Imagine if 14 was free every time you wanted to meld Materia it costed money fail or succeed and when overmelding if you fail it breaks the wepon unless you pay $20 insurance

It kind of makes me uncomfortable how the English dub Voice Actresses make sounds I'd expect the JP ones to make

it's cause they are told to do so

trust me mandarin is worse

I mean, I'm not saying it's a bad thing

In fact, theoretically it's a good thing since it more closely resembles the original delivery

It's just not what you'd expect

Honestly I'm glad the English dubs don't typically do that

I prefer localization over straight translation
