I am trying to understand this paradox, why should we have seen signs of alien life?

or if were just another layer of reality think marvel its fake to us and say theres a tv in the world of marvel its fake to them whos to say theres just not another layer above us

Cause humans have barely been able to go out to space now

What are the chances that other life planets have only reached as far as we have

Or even less

Ah

So you believe they exist but no proof of it

* There are billions of stars in the Milky Way similar to the Sun.

* With high probability, some of these stars have Earth-like planets,  and if the Earth is typical, some may have already developed intelligent life.

* Some of these civilizations may have developed interstellar travel, a step humans are investigating now.

* Even at the slow pace of currently envisioned interstellar travel, the Milky Way galaxy could be completely traversed in a few million years.

* And since many of the stars similar to the Sun are billions of years older, this would seem to provide plenty of time.

So yeah, the argument comes down to "we should have seen something, but haven't"

Thing is tho, other life on planets might not even have advanced enough to even get space travel

For all we know, out of all the planets with life, Earth is the most advanced

That is a possible solution

There are many solutions out there

Or possible solutions, I should say
