Curious how this thing with Nintendo will go tho

It seems like a big and risky move by Microsoft

itll pay off

It's worth it for me, cause we get Halo MCC and Halo Infinite on PC

halo infinite supposedly being an RPG is a big W

Exclusivity is what consoles kind of need to keep thriving

Oh yeah there was something about player choice?

i understand that marluxia

Imdid it help the Xbox tho

?

but having exclusive games alienate a large portion of gaming communities

did it help the Xbox tho

It depends on what you make an exclusive

I mean are a lot of people feeling alienated by Zelda and Mario?

theres nintendo characters on the home oage of xbox dashboard

I feel like the argument against exclusivity because it alienates the audience is kind of only really only fair if the franchise had an earlier entry that was at one point available on multiple platforms or traditionally exclusive to one console then decided to switch. Because that's just intentionally alienating people or being just plain sh*y. I think I can be more lenient on Nintendo because they have never moved away from their consoles with their games. It doesn't hurt the fanbase as much because a lot of them usually only ever game on Nintendo consoles.

Then again it can always be frustrating if you wanted to move away from that console for a better gaming experience and yet not be able to get it on your new platform without alternative methods.

Having all there first party ip's on PC for those who can play on it just makes it not worth to get an xbone

the option is still there for the console players though

They are going full service mode tho

thats the point

Yeah but at the same time buisness

game pass is firetrucking amazing, but ofcourse they get clowned for it

pay £5 a month and get all their games day 1? and a bunch of other games? incredible.

There's no reason to buy your 500 dollar machine if I can just play on PC

Game pass is cool

It's just let's be honest if Nintendo went 3rd party which they should there games would not only look better but the online would at least be good for smash lol

I can just imagine Zelda on PC or ps5
