@Orpheus Joshua Red Flame: Increases the amount of % you get during crafting on a single item
Blue Flame: If you get a Blue Flame it increases the % amount of all items you chose during the crafting

So basically if you only have 1 stat you want to have someone with a high stat in Red Flame. In this case Reyn
If you have multiple stats you want someone that has a high value in Blue Flame

If your mats reach over 100%, 200% etc. during crafting they will upgrade the gem to its next level.

the % is basically the quality value of a gem

you can also ignore the gem forge if you want and get them from doing side quests and the collectible stuff.

So is it just pointless to do gem crafting at the beginning then? Cuz affinity is low and they only reach barely above 100%

yeah just play the game until you get rank 2 mats

and increase your affinity to reyn
