got spoiled on the third grade orbments. Mind you, this was actually a good thing since it helped in clearing a lot of my doubts.

So the reason characters have a deceptively low EP amount is because, due to third grade orbments, you get to upgrade them again, further increasing the EP cap. Is that correct?
