heres my complaint with the anime for twewy

it looks too bright

like

this has a much grittier, or just darker look to it

too vibrant with the anime imo

Sadly they can't copy everything they did there

It's easier to keep those colors with the thicker lines in still forms than it is in motion

Which is pretty much what I feel about the MHA anime. It's great but it can't hold a candle to the art Hori has in the manga.

i would say its just updated to todays art styles

its a lot cleaner

ehh, it's not an update to todays art style. There's only so much you can do trying to replicate what someone else drew

wasn't so much talking about the lines as I was just the general color scheme

And you have a whole team of them doing it while trying to animate it

also, the description of the trailer states that the anime is gonna be taking place in modern day. Modern day isnt very edgy, its more bright and stuff..

i mean thats still art of course but still i would say modernized

The architecture in the anime looks pretty modern to me

And my guess would be that some changes were made for animation purposes

i would say think of it like how nomuras art is different now

Yeah but you would still know it's Nomura's art

Take the Neku pic of the anime and compare it to the Neku of the game and you will instantly tell which one is nomura

Art style changes happen when there's an anime adaption

Sometimes it works sometimes you get Berserk 2016

I thought it was Gen Kobayashi doing the art for Twewy

or at least its his artstyle
