People didn't praise platinum until nier automata came out

Korra was probably the only good one out of the activision trio

i praised them for vanquished

wasnt the only negative to korra that you get all abilities at the start then instantly taken away>

And even, they have had some misses since then too

thats the only negative i saw thrwn around

And it still wasn't that good

i think plat games are largely over rated hojnestly

korra was ASS

Plat make a great game and get praise for it which then masks the fact they have a load of other not so great ones also tied to their belt

they are not they do AMAZING in terms of understanding a action game the problem is they do a nomura and do 30 projects at the SAME DAMN TIME

they are a small team

you cant be doing this

Nomura doesn’t seem to be trying to take all those projects tho..

I think plat is overly ambitious

they are

and its hurting them

Not a bad thing, and they’ve a load of other good games besides NieR:Automata, so they’ve earned the rep, but not everything turns out well

They are extremely lucky in the fact that they have a few good titles people remember them by

And they’ve their rep from prior to Platinum Games’ formation

it is bad
