Wonder Woman 84 was wonderfully mediocre. I enjoyed it but hmm, didn’t live up to the first one

I am still not sure which one I prefer more

The first one I enjoyed a lot but the ending left a very sour taste after finishing it

This one I felt landed it much better

I could agree this one did have a stronger ending

Just didn’t feel as substantial I guess idk

Yeah, that's fair

I enjoyed both a lot regardless

Their were things I wish had much more of a impact, a lot of plot threads just end, like

Cheetah

for example.

But either way I felt more satisfied after watching this one than the first, the ending left such a bad taste in my mouth it took me out of the movie entirely
This was just stupid fun, and I loved it because of that.

I absolutely loved that this movie highlighted Diana's empathetic side a lot more than the first movie did

By having her try and talk pretty much all the fights before she ended up fighting was great

Especially the last monologue was just pure talking and nothing more

Was I supposed to believe

everyone making a wish renounced it because of her ? Or is it the power of her whip ?

do we need to spoiler things ?

But the film did show the whip being used and on the tvs of the glow, which is likely what got the peoples true wishes out instead of the ones they wished they wanted

I think it's more about

the chaos starting to spread because of their wishes when they made it. From people dying to riots happening and so on. If the solution is to just renounce it, then they just did it

The lasso probably played a part too

Yeah well that would work if i was a kid

but no way every single person just renounce lol

I really liked the start of the movie, then I think they went a bit too crazy with the bad guy power and it became just another shitty hero flick, ending was terrible I felt, maybe rushed ? idk

The opening sequence was firetrucking amazing

But the highlight for me was the post credit scene, I couldn't believe it, it was so good.

Lynda firetrucking Carter, holy firetruck

Meanwhile, my family watched Soul

Was alright. Good message but idk why it didn't hit home or have the usual Pixar magic on me

Man.. if any of you are fantasy fans, pick up hbo max for a month, or even a free trial and binge “His Dark Materials” that show is so good! Based on the golden compass books. So glad they decided to do this series justice in the form of a show! The movie did NOT even touch on some of the best aspects

Meanwhile.... At wakaliwood ghetto rally...

Subaru...
