They probably have a passion for cooking but the school lunch standards are so ridiculous

My school luckily had a boars head section where you could make your own cold cut sandwiches

its ironic too, since they promised to make school lunches healthier

and they made them cheaper really

By healthier they’re looking at calorie count

High school lunches are about 700 calories if I remember correctly

I think elementary lunches are around 3 or 4 hundred

I found this in an article A 2009 investigation by USA Today found that meat served in U.S. schools wouldn’t meet the quality or safety standards of fast-food restaurants

Schools are probably the least cared about government-run institution in America

the only 2 hot lunch meals at my school that actually tasted like real food was the gyro's and the tuna melts

No armed security, lunches worse than prison, low standards

I mean its really a cost of having free public schooling

because public schools only have a budget from taxes and such

My school has one armed resource officer but that’s it
