I unfortunately had to leave my childhood dog at home when I went to college and then after my apartment wouldn’t allow pets.. so I very seldom got to see him.. then it was 2 days before I was going up home for this most recent Christmas and I was excited to see him when I get a call from my mom and she said they had to put him down ?

my childhood dog and I were the same age so we he went it kinda was like losing a brother

It really is like losing a family member.. so sad

But.. that is life.. ?

maybe one day we will learn how to slow down the dog ageing
