we finally made finals like, 2 years after i graduated

oh well haha, marching band was fun but good gosh the drama it caused

idk what causes marching band to have it no matter what you do, but like damn. its bad

Marching band cliques are the worst

So much drama and gossip

that's the part i for sure do not miss

I won’t miss it when I graduate

i miss the doing of it
learning a full performance, learning sets, getting better at drumming, taking it way too seriously for no reason, keeping yourself in shape so you can actually run around a football field for 12 min straight

and my only regret is that i should have just spent time with my actual best friends and not my line even though it was like tradition to stick to the line

I don’t have to worry about sticking with my section bc they’re all friends with each other and not me

But for some reason I’m going to try out for section leader

People may not wanna hang out with me, but at least I can run a sectional and be productive

I’ve never felt so close to my flute since I joined marching band

I know more about flutes and stuff

and then 2 memebrs of my line hated me

so we never had a full bass line to practice
