Not like they can't keep their culture, but there are different rules of behavior here that some people are resistant to follow.

Many go to far and diss culture, though.

Ofc, but what I mean to say is that these established communities, like Germans, Polish, Italian, have been in America for quite some time and have like, subcultures? So what is assimilation?

When their children grew up and behaved like regular British folk they were beaten up for being brown, and now my generation, the grandchildren, are constantly under threat of having rights revoked
