Well, so far there have been found ~40 galaxies in it

Unsettling indeed, thats the sort of thing lovecraft was getting at

But you need to put it into perspective

It's like 1% of the observable universe is just a huge poll of nothingness

space itself is kinda terrifying

it used to drive me crazy thinking how big and infinite space is like to think theres no end and even if there was a end a wall whats behind the wall

when you realise just how big it is

When I die, I genuinely want to be shot into space

Theres a reason it's called space

I want aliens to experiment on me

Astronomists say it's so dark it's the same as just closing your eyes

closing your eyes doesnt work to well since u can still see light

It's darkness within darkness

It's just for you to have a reference
