Also I'm kinda ? for ps2 backwards compatiblity

I wish Xylek were here, I finally have time to battle

How about 3?

Doubt it

PS3 had a weird architecture that is hard to replicate, and to bypass that with brute force, you need brute force

Just ask the RPCS3 people

Lmao what does brute force even mean

Well, think about it this way

When you run a game coded to run on specific architectures on another architecture, you need to adapt it to run on it

But, with emulation, you can make it so that the hardware you have "fools" the software, making it think it's running on the original architecture when, in fact, it's not

That would be "brute force"

The problem is that you need a hardware many times more powerful than the original one for it to run well enough

i get jt

And with the PS3 hardware and it's infamous cell architecture, it's even harder to fool it

You need really powerful hardware for it to run well

And when I mean run well, it's not just a matter of frames per second, it's also running without slowdown, graphical or audio glitches, and no physics bugs

Ps3 is so powerful

CORVIKNIGHT AND DREDNAW LOOK SO DOPE

PS3 was powerful for the time it was released, back in 2006-2007

The problem is really the architecture it had

Different from anything else

Cell architecture, is what it's called

Ok ok

thus why some need the ps3 itself instead of emulation

When it comes to emulation

Not to mention the nightmare that is shaders

When it comes to emulation

Yuya you never play in my tournaments
