It seems p clear he is a dream when the Aeons outright state it and he begins to fade away later on.

The tone is generally calm and carefree like their old values don't matter anymore since they entered the Eternal Calm, but Yuna is still holding on to the nostalgia b/ of a sphere that had a man (Shuyin) that looked like Tidus.

The matchmaking and PR ish was definitely weird, but I like having a chocobo farm.
